40 Years-Anendyk Seaways

The company was established in 1983, when shipping companies together with sea transport services on the coast of South West Crete, joined forces. Since that date ANENDYK Seaways (formerly known as ANENDYK) has provided an uninterrupted service of 40 years to coastal shipping and the society of South West Crete. 

Our ships have the advantage of boarding and disembarking passengers, vehicles and goods in some of the most inaccessible places. ANENDYK Seaways provides sea transportation in seven main ports of South West Crete – Sfakia, Loutro, Agia Roumeli, Sougia, Palaiochora, Gavdos and Plakias.

We continue to provide these services with consistency and a sense of responsibility.  Our aims are to continue the ongoing development of the company, to improve our services to the public and to support the residents of the local areas on the South West coast.

Passengers travelling on foot may purchase their tickets up to one hour before the departure time at local partner tourist offices.

Gavdos

Sfakia

Hora Sfakion, or Sfakia, is a beautiful village nestled in-between azure seas and majestic mountains. The village is very traditional, and a great place to holiday off the beaten track. There are some great restaurants along the seafront, and a range of shops to serve your everyday needs. Don’t expect nightclubs and designer shops.
