The company was founded in 1983, when shipping companies providing maritime transport services along the coast of Southwestern Crete decided to join forces and create a single, reliable coastal shipping operator for the region.

Since then, the services offered have been continuously improved, as the company consistently implements a development-oriented policy, investing in its fleet, its people, and the quality of service.

Today, ANENDYK serves maritime connections at six (6) main ports of Southwestern Crete: Sfakia, Loutro, Agia Roumeli, Sougia, Paleochora, and Gavdos. These destinations represent a daily necessity for many residents and visitors, as well as a unique travel experience.

The company applies the International Safety Management Code for the Safe Operation of Ships and for Pollution Prevention (ISM Code), which ensures the proper operation of vessels, passenger safety, and respect for the marine environment.

ANENDYK’s human resources consist of individuals with maritime experience, who receive continuous training aimed at the ongoing improvement of productivity and the quality of the company’s services.

The company operates passenger–vehicle ferries (F/B) and passenger vessels, offering the advantage of boarding and disembarking passengers, vehicles, and goods even at difficult-to-access points along the coastline.
